Big Brand Water Filter has entered into a master distribution agreement with Nimbus Water Systems!The Nimbus water systems have all wetted parts injection molded in California. The reverse osmosis drinking water systems are NSF certified, and California Department of Health Services certified.Several of our other vendors have moved manufacturing overseas to places like China. With the contaminated pet food from China and now the poison pharaceuticals coming out of China many of our customers are asking for system that doesn't have any wetted parts that originated in China. The Nimbus reverse osmosis drinking water system also has the lowest waste ratio, 2.1 gallons of waste to one gallon of product of any currently produced home reverse osmosis system on the market. Nimbus is an interesting company. I have known them since the early nineties, they were huge, had many patents when home reverse osmosis was new, and owned their own reverse osmosis membrane manufacturing plant. They sold their membrane business to a company called Osmonics which was later purchased by GE. Nimbus struggled to adjust to changing market conditions when everything went to low prices about 8 years ago. Many people who have bought lower priced reverse osmosis systems from big box retailers in the past are now realizing that quality and American manufacturing make a different in system performance and reliability. The changing viewpoint of home drinking water systems has brought Nimbus Water Systems back into style. |
