The company started as a small water filtration, water purification and water treatment sales and service company offering installation and service in the Los Angeles area. In 1994 the company was moved to Santa Barbara, California where sales of water treatment equipment continued on both the retail and wholesale distribution level. Saltsburg completed degrees at UCSB in Environmental Studies and Geography in addition to a Business Administration degree. In 1997 the company moved back to Los Angeles and branched off into commercial and industrial water treatment, filtration and purification. In 1999 the Eco Home Products name was put under the current corporate name Big Brand Water Filter, Inc. Big Brand Water Filter now offers over 100 brand names of water filtration, purification and disinfection equipment to a variety of water treatment customers including water dealers, plumbers, residential customers, industrial and commercial water users and government agencies. Founder, Dan Saltsburg is a Certified Water Treatment Specialist. In addition to equipment sales, Big Brand Water Filter offers on site consultation in the Los Angeles and surrounding regions. On larger commercial projects arrangements can be made to consult anywhere in the United States.
